This page explains what Loud Yak collects when you apply for a call on this website, why we collect it, where it's kept, and how to ask us to delete it. If anything here isn't clear, email mike@loudyak.com.
What we collect
When you fill in the application on our Book a call page, we collect:
- Your contact details: first and last name, email, mobile, business name, website, and where you're based.
- Your answers about your business: what it does, the marketing you're doing now, what's holding you back, what you want more of, what a customer is worth to you, your rough monthly revenue and marketing budget, where you'd like to be in a year, and when you'd like to start.
- Your answers to our quick check questions, and whether we pointed you to a call or to Lumero.
- Basic technical details sent with the form, such as the date and time, your IP address and browser type, which we use to stop spam and abuse.
If you book a call, we send your name, email, time zone and the time you pick to our booking system, TidyCal, to make the booking.
Why we collect it
- To work out whether Loud Yak is a good fit for your business.
- To prepare for your call, so we can come ready with ideas instead of questions.
- To contact you about your application and your call.
- To follow up by email about our services. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Where it's stored
- Cloudflare runs this website and keeps a secure backup copy of each application. Cloudflare's Turnstile check also runs on the form to block spam bots.
- Encharge is the system we use to keep track of enquiries and send emails.
- TidyCal handles call bookings. It adds the call to our Google Calendar and creates the Google Meet link.
These providers may store data on servers outside Australia. We only give them what they need to do their job.
We never sell it
We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't add you to anyone else's list. We only share it with the providers above, or if the law requires us to.
Asking for it to be deleted
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted at any time. Email mike@loudyak.com from the address you applied with, tell us what you'd like, and we'll take care of it and confirm when it's done.
